Archiving Black Miami-Dade

Help us build Black Miami-Dade’s growing Digital Community Archive by sharing photos, flyers, old newspapers, printed documents, audio and videos of your Black Miami story.

Your contribution will help us share a a fuller and more complete version of Miami’s Black history.

If you have many images or VHS tapes that you would like included in the collection— we do make limited appointments (subject to availability) for our team to scan images and digitize videos. For more information email blackmiamidade@gmail.com

Donated items to the Black Miami-Dade community archive will be used for educational purposes and exhibits, media and publications produced by Black Miami-Dade.

Those who submit retain the rights to their images.
